Platform Realignment & Public Knowledge Base Expansion
As part of an operational realignment between The Shadow on the Moon (TSoM) and our sister company, 5K-IoT, we are pleased to present our newly updated web platform.
This release establishes a clear operational structure for our full-stack IoT engineering services while enhancing our existing Secure Customer Portal. While the portal has long served as a primary repository for client collaboration and deliverables, this update modernizes the interface, optimizes usability, and reinforces underlying data isolation protocols.
Core Changes Across the Platform:
- Enhanced Knowledge Base & IP Protection: Our customer technical repositories are being reorganized to maintain full engineering depth, including system architecture notes, firmware strategies, and schematics. The upgraded platform structure enables stricter access segregation, ensuring customer Intellectual Property, proprietary designs, and trade secrets remain fully protected.
- Expanded Public Content Pipeline: A primary objective of this site refresh is to enable broader sharing of technical knowledge with the public. Curated versions of technical white papers, architectural briefs, and field case studies originally created for internal or client-specific use will be made available in our Articles section. These releases will occur only after rigorous review to ensure sensitive customer IP and trade secrets are thoroughly protected, with client consent and total anonymity maintained where required.
- Flexible Public Access & Upcoming Subscriptions: General visitors can browse our core service offerings and published engineering notes anonymously. Registration on the site will soon offer users the ability to subscribe directly to technical updates, white papers, and company news. When this notification feature launches, users will be invited to configure their communication preferences. In accordance with our strict privacy policy, all subscription features will operate on an explicit opt-in basis to ensure accounts are never enrolled in marketing emails without direct consent.
We invite you to explore the updated site as we continue populating our technical archive over the coming weeks.
